English Synonyms For Competitive Exams

Preparing for competitive exam like Xat,Cat,Civil services exams, medical entrances etc.  What ever it may be and from any domain, English language plays a crucial part.  Every exam comprise of a section to test your language skills.  For scoring good, the basic english should be strong enough.

One such concept of general english is Synonyms.Synonyms means the word which has exactly the same meaning as the word. Simply, they are different words carrying same meanings. Learning synonyms can enhance your vocabulary  and give you an edge over others. Not to mention, all most all competitive exams include questions testing your basic language skill consisting of questions on Synonyms as well..

Here in this article ,I have picked up very commonly used english words  starting with alphabet "A "and have attempted to put forward more than one Synonym of the word. Thus by learning multiple words containing similar meaning will not only help clear Competitive exams but also give your vocabulary an abundance.
